INTEGRATION
Iris
Connect your Iris database so Dytto keeps your client base in sync: company details, contacts, and annual account periods. Read-only, refreshed every night.
What you can do with Iris in Dytto
Dytto syncs your Iris client base every night and only ever reads it, so client context is ready in Dytto without your database being touched.
Client records
Sync the authoritative client record from Iris: display name, legal form, business and VAT numbers, and address.
Contacts
Bring across the email addresses, phone numbers, and people linked to each client.
Annual account periods
See the annual account periods held against each client, straight from your Iris database.
Categorisation
Keep your Iris client categorisation, SIC code, and business description alongside the record.
Read-only by design
Dytto only ever runs read queries. Nothing is written back to your Iris database.
Synced every night
A nightly sync keeps your client base current, so you can find and filter clients fast inside Dytto.
HOW IT WORKS
From your database to your client base
Connect your database
Dytto connects to your Iris SQL Server with the credentials you provide, over an encrypted connection.
Sync every night
Each night Dytto reads a fixed set of practice views and refreshes your client base in Dytto.
Read-only, always
The connection only ever reads, so your Iris database stays exactly as it is.
GET CONNECTED
Connect Iris in a few minutes
You need your Iris SQL Server details and a login. An admin connects it once for the whole firm.
1
Open Settings, then Integrations
In Dytto, go to Settings, open Integrations, and choose Iris.
2
Enter your SQL Server details
Add the host, port, database, username, and password for your Iris database.
3
Dytto tests the connection
Dytto checks your credentials, stores them encrypted, and starts syncing your clients that night.
Bring Iris into your workflows
Connect your Iris database once, then find any client in Dytto with their details already in place.
