INTEGRATION

Octopus

Connect your Octopus environment so Dytto can read ledgers, bookings, and invoices across every dossier, and book work back, without leaving your workflow.

What you can do with Octopus in Dytto

Dytto reads the live books straight from Octopus and can act back on them, so the work happens right where you already are.

Ledger accounts

Read the chart of accounts and account details for any dossier and bookyear, straight from the Octopus books.

Journals & bookings

List purchase, sales, financial, and miscellaneous bookings for any period, and add new ones behind an approval step.

Invoices

Draft, book, and send a sales invoice, and check what a client has already been billed.

Relations

Read the customers and suppliers on a dossier, and create or update one when details change.

Open items & reports

Pull open balances and history reports so you can see what is outstanding without opening Octopus.

Multiple dossiers

Work across every dossier your Octopus login can reach, so you can move between clients without switching systems.

HOW IT WORKS

From a question to the right number

Find the dossier

Dytto lists the dossiers your Octopus login can reach and scopes the work to the right one.

Read the books

It reads ledgers, bookings, invoices, and open items directly from Octopus.

Act with approval

Reads run automatically; booking an invoice or adding a journal is a write, so it always asks before anything lands in the books.
